The short version

Some links on this site earn us a commission if you buy through them. Where that is true, it says so right next to the product, not just here.

Being paid does not change what we recommend or how we score it. You do not have to take that on trust: where we recommend something, we say what we actually did with it, who it is not for, and what we would buy instead if the price is out of reach. Our product review methodology sets out the criteria in full.

Commission links

When a link is marked “paid link”, we may earn a commission if you buy through it. It costs you nothing extra. We mark these links in the page code as sponsored, which is what Google asks for.

As of today there is one: the RedVive link on our recommended products page. Dr. Benton uses those panels himself and bought them before any arrangement existed.

Free and loaned products

Companies sometimes send products. When that happens the product card says so. A free product is not a recommendation, and a product sent to us does not earn a place on this site by arriving.

Sponsorship, advisory work and speaking

There are none. Dr. Benton holds no sponsorship, advisory role, equity stake or paid speaking arrangement with any company whose products are discussed on this site. The RedVive commission described above is the only financial relationship of any kind.

If that changes, this page changes first.

Care at our practice

Restorative Wellness Center is a cash-pay, out-of-network practice, and the cost of care is explained on our financing and insurance page. Nothing on the education side of this site is designed to send you to a consultation you do not need. Most of what we write about is not something we provide.

Things we will not take money for

We do not take commission on peptides, exosome products, stem cell products or prescription drugs. Those are prescription or unapproved products, and selling them from an education page would be wrong.

We also will not take commission on over-the-counter night guards. We spend a good deal of this site explaining the difference between one of those and a custom appliance, and we would rather explain the difference than sell you one.

Questions

If anything on this page is unclear, or you think a disclosure is missing somewhere on the site, please get in touch and say so. We would rather hear it from you than not.
