Restorative Wellness Center is one of the few practices in Northwest Arkansas built around the connection between TMJ disorders and sleep-disordered breathing. When a patient’s jaw pain, headaches, or sleep symptoms overlap, that overlap is exactly the focus of our practice.

Why Physicians Refer to RWC

Dr. B. Kyle Benton holds credentials that are uncommon in this region: training through Tufts University, fellowship status with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (FAACP), and qualification through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). Most providers treat TMD or sleep apnea. Restorative Wellness Center treats the intersection of both, using oral appliance therapy as a primary modality alongside conservative TMD care.

For patients who have not tolerated CPAP, who have unexplained facial pain, or who show signs of both conditions at once, that combined training often changes the outcome.

What Happens After You Refer

  1. Your patient contacts our office, or completes the form below, and we schedule a comprehensive consultation.
  2. We evaluate for TMD, airway and sleep-disordered breathing, and bite and occlusal factors together, not in isolation.
  3. We send you a summary of findings and our recommended treatment plan, so you stay informed on your patient’s care.
  4. If oral appliance therapy is appropriate, we coordinate directly with sleep physicians on titration and follow up testing.

The Evidence Behind Oral Appliance Therapy
